Sean Corner #9
Sean Corner, a six year member of the Hamilton Hornets Rugby
Football Club, was accidentally injured in a rugby game on
September 9, 2006. His spinal cord was damaged causing paralysis
from the waist down. This is likely to be permanent. He is
currently receiving therapy at Chedoke Hospital in Hamilton.
Sean is 21. He played rugby for three years at Hill Park high
school. He went on to play at Mohawk College and won athletic
and academic awards there. He then became starting scrumhalf
for the Hornets' 1st XV.
Sean is at Chedoke Hospital, Holbrook Pavilion Bldg, Room
D381 ( 2nd floor ). On weekdays, Sean will be busy during
the day with rehab programs, so visiting hours are Mon - Fri
from 5pm to 8:30 p.m. and weekends 11am to 8:30 p.m. Supper
is usually at 5pm so you may find him in the cafeteria at
that time.
From time to time updates on his progress will be posted here,
but remember he does like to have visitors so note the above
times and go see him.
The Hornets will be organizing several fundraising events
over the next few months, so please come back and visit this
site for details so you don't miss out on any.
